We would like to extend a huge thank you to all of you who supported the recent Art Exhibition at Probus Church. This year’s exhibition was ably organised by Vanessa McGill and featured over 180 works of art along with an exhibits and demonstrations from Cornwall Woodcarvers.
A successful preview evening on the 1st August saw over 100 people in church as the exhibition was officially opened by Cllr Bob Egerton. An evening of art, nibbles, wine and chatter followed accompanied by music from Carole Bannister.
Over the course of the exhibition a total of just over £1,750 was raised. So whether your involvement was preparing the church, making refreshments, stewarding, contributing art work or coming along to view – thank you! And of course a huge thank you to Vanessa for co-ordinating the whole event and loving it so much that she has agreed to do it all over again next year!
