This morning saw families from Probus Church and Truro Methodist Circuit come together in the grounds of The Sanctuary for Forest Church.
A great time was had by all. The older children got stuck into whittling sticks to make crosses, making fires to toast marshmallows, painting using catapults, picture making and a scavenger hunt. The younger children had fun trying their hand at a few of the activities as well as playing on the lawns. After spending time on these activities we came together to toast crumpets on an open fire and listen to a Bible Story on seeking and finding by Revd Joachim.
The sun came out in time for a relaxed picnic lunch to round off the morning.
With many thanks to those who helped to plan and organise and to those who helped with the different activities as well as to to Revd Joachim and family for hosting us (and sharing their toys!).
