Today the new Bishop of Truro, the Right Reverend Philip Mounstephen was formally welcomed and installed at Truro Cathedral. It was a great service with both solemn moments and times of laughter. During his sermon Bishop Philip urged all denominations to work together.
The photograph above (from Truro Diocese) shows Bishop Philip just after he was presented with the Pastoral Staff that belonged to the first Bishop of Truro Edward White Benson.
