If you pop into Probus Church on Thursday afternoon’s during term you will be treated to the sight and sounds of young children and their carers enjoying themselves as they find out more about God and Jesus at Little Lights.
Little Lights, a church service for pre-school children, has been meeting for several years and through a combination of craft, storytelling, songs and prayer aims to teach Bible Stories to the children who attend. After the service there are refreshments for all. There are one off special events including a summer picnic and nativity service which is held with the Reception class from school.
This year the leaders and carers are extending an invitation to the older generations, especially those who might be feeling lonely or isolated to come and join them as they become Little Lights and the 3G’s (three generations). They meet on the first and third Thursdays of every month between 1.45 and 3.00pm. If you would like to find out more please get in touch or just turn up.
