About the Project
The west end of church is predominantly used for community events and outreach- coffee mornings, little lights, spotlights, community larder etc.
The previous area was crowded, poorly heated and a mishmash of donated furniture.
We recently received a Community Levelling Up grant which allowed us to expand, refresh and heat this area
This work was completed over the summer and autumn of 2024 and included
- Installation of new heating
- reorganisation of the space to allow a bigger circulation area
- Installation of new carpets
- Purchase of new chairs, storage units
- Fabrication of a new mobile serving unit
